SALVATION AND THE GOOD NEWS
Salvation is God's gift to anyone who accepts it. We can never make up for our sins with self-improvement or good works. It is only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness that you can be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment you receive Jesus Christ into your life by faith.
We recognize the gospel as the good news of God's grace in this world of darkness. It paints the ultimate portrait of creation, fall, redemption, and consummation ordained by God and orchestrated through the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.
Christ's crucifixion is the heart of the gospel.
His resurrection is the power of the gospel.
His ascension is the glory of the gospel.
